I keep seeing these beautifully crafted spider webs in my garden which have cone shaped nests cleverly constructed above the web.
I just saw that my photograph of a pair of rainbow lorikeets called "Lean on Me" has been included in this Flickr Gallery curated by George Goodnight. George writes "A hug is worth a thousand words. I discovered an insect I haven't seen before in my garden today and it is a moth with an unusually long snout. I think that it might be Heliocosma argyroleuca or Agriphila straminella but I'm not sure.

A Facebook friend of mine suggested that I look at this professional photographer's profile and when I did, I also checked out his website and blog. I was immersed in his blog for 40 minutes before dragging myself away and it is a goldmine of information.
