Our cat “Domino” who has been with us for 15 years has been very sick these past few days and after a second blood test this morning she has been diagnosed with having an incurable cancer so we made the heart wrenching decision of putting her “to sleep” and I am an emotional wreck at the moment. Domino was a beautiful cat who enjoyed a wonderfully happy life and I know it was the right decision but it’s still very, very hard and I miss her so much.

Thanks Helena,
It was very sad to lose her but the right decision and little Domino’s time was up before she suffered any pain. That makes it easier for me.
So sorry to read this. I have 2 cats, both 16. I am dreading the day when I have to say goodbye. Their sister and mama both died of cancer at age 12, si I fear it’s in the genes. Scooter is FiV+ and Fluffy has thyroid trouble. They both have arthritis. But to see them, you’d think they were younger and fitter. It slowly hitting me that they are not immortal though! One had to go to the vet this week and my heart was in my mouth all day.
Losing a furry friend is heartbreaking. Big hugs, tea and cake being sent out to you.
